As someone who did a 1k pack opening challenge for the Chaos Legion set, and seeing the price of Chaos Legion continuing to decline in this 500+ day crypto bear market, I hope the splinterlands team does divert dedicated attention and effort towards finding utility for the older sets. Older cards remain valuable within their contexts, and the splinterlands team is dedicated to preserving their worth through mechanisms like staking and new game modes. The team stressed that card value isn't one-size-fits-all each card has its niche in the game, shaped by rules, leagues, and abilities.
